Dear Luke Dashjr, here’s why I want to join the @TaprootWizards:

Satoshi inscribed "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on the brink of second bailout for banks." in the genesis block. If you want to have no inscriptions in Bitcoin, try creating a new genesis block first.

Also, who are you to dictate what goes into Bitcoin and what does not. The truly epic part is the way you gaslight everyone else by saying its a "bug". You think everyone else is stupid.

Thankfully though, Bitcoin is an open and decentralized network and what you do does not determine the ultimate fate of Bitcoin. It only exposes you and your flawed dogmatic idealogy.

TaprootWizards mark the start of a "new" Bitcoin. Maxis have lost. The very traits of Bitcoin that they used to espouse (censorship resistance and decentralization) can now be used to store JPEGs on the Bitcoin blockchain.

TaprootWizards and JPEGs are the way to onboard people onto Bitcoin. It will do much more for Bitcoin than maxis ever did. Ordinals have created a thriving economy where Bitcoin is used as the medium of exchange not just a store of value. Ordinals has already brought in so many new people to Bitcoin and they will continue to do so because its infinitely more inclusive than the exclusive Bitcoin citadels.

I want to be part of the TaprootWizards movement because it will win by bringing more people to Bitcoin than ever before.
