You see, very little innovation has taken place on Bitcoin until Taproot came along. We then saw nobody use it, so we decided to do a lil magic, innovate, and even accelerate real Bitcoin adoption as a result. Please don't roll back Taproot, at least not until my Wizard has been sent to me. Thank you, dear Bitcoin CEO.
