Luciana Guerra was born in Argentina, studied Fine Arts at UNR University. She has participated in artistic residencies in Catamarca (Argentina), Peru, Berlin, and Rio de Janeiro. Received numerous awards, including First Prize in Painting at the National Salon of the APS Foundation, First Prize in Painting at the National Salon of Banco Tornquist, and First Prize in Painting from the Goethe Foundation in Rosario. Additionally, she was awarded an Honorable Mention in Painting at the Manuel Belgrano Salon, two consecutive Acquisition Prizes in San Juan, Second Prize in Painting at the MAV Salon in Concordia, Second Prize in Painting at the National Salon of Azul, and Second Prize in Drawing at the National Salon of Tres Arroyos. She has been selected for the Atuel and San Juan Drawing Biennials and for national exhibitions in Bahía Blanca, Tandil, Vicente López, Entre Ríos, San Juan, BANCOR, Junín, Lanús, and Tucumán. In 2024, she was also invited to serve as a jury member for the National Painting Salon in La Pampa. She has participated in multiple editions of Otra Feria with Gabelich Contemporáneo Gallery and exhibited at renowned institutions, including Jorge Mara La Ruche (Buenos Aires), the Buenos Aires Legislature, Castagnino Museum (Rosario), Solana Garage (Miami and New York), Solans Hotels (Córdoba), and MACAB Museum (Adrogué). She was also invited to exhibit in Eduardo Stupía’s show “De Este Lado del Horizonte” and in #Hashtag, both held at the Arts Pavilion of UCA University. Her work has been showcased in major international galleries and art fairs such as Artcrush, Superchief, Neal Digital Gallery, NFTNYC, JRNY Gallery, Art Basel, and the Solana Foundation. She was selected as one of the emerging artists of 2024 by curators from MoMA, Christie’s, and others in the publication Hug Artists to Watch in 2024. She currently focuses her artistic practice on drawing, monotypes, painting, and digital art.
