This piece was captured over the span of ten days, each photograph taken during various excursions to the beach that my wife and I shared. From the first light of dawn to the soft fading hues of dusk, I sought to capture the ever-changing dance of light and shadow, the ebb and flow of the tides, from multiple vantage points around the pier. The images, carefully arranged, are designed to transport the viewer, to evoke the sensation of strolling back and forth beneath the pier, immersed in the quiet rhythm of the beach. With each step, the shifting angles reveal a new perspective, inviting you to feel as though you are physically present in those moments—experiencing the subtle nuances of time and space that define the shoreline's unique beauty. My hope is that, through this work, the viewer can place themselves among the soft crashing of waves and the distant calls of seabirds, as if the scene were unfolding around them in real-time.
