Note
All of the Brasher Dubloons are numismatic rarities, with only seven known specimens existing. Goldsmith Ephraim Brasher privately minted this New York-style doubloon in 1787. This was five years before the United States established the Mint, making it one of the few pre-federal gold coins made for circulation.
